She has been visually crafting stories for years with roots that run south almost to the equator. In early 2020, she and her family moved to Northwestern Colorado for a short stint, previously living nearly eight years on the Big Island of Hawai'i, and as of 2021, have been back in Kentucky. With her, she brought her diverse background; she is a first-generation American, born in Illinois to Venezuelan parents, and grew up in Kentucky.

Her life and career have grown her creativity. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis on graphic design from Eastern Kentucky University. She is an award-winning graphic designer with over 25 years of experience in branding, marketing, and communications, and her successful career has ventured into a wide variety of industries.

Curiosity is not her middle name, but it should be. She enjoys living life through the eyes and mind of a spunky, young daughter, a crew of crazy, loving fur and feathered babies, and a super, supportive partner. The outdoors is her haven – exploring and adventuring. She deeply values the importance of individuals' and communities' connection with nature as a global and universal society.
