Emily Nugent ’14 currently serves as the Planned Philanthropy Stewardship Coordinator. She grew up in Lapeer, Michigan, and studied political science at Berea. During her time as a student, Emily worked with middle and high school students in the GEAR UP and Upward Bound Math Science programs and studied the Millennium Development Goals as part of a study abroad course in Uganda.

Prior to joining the Planned Philanthropy team, Emily served as an AmeriCorps VISTA member and worked at several Central Kentucky nonprofits. She lives in Lexington with her partner, Jude, and enjoys gardening in her free time.
