Janna Norton, Grants and Relationships Manager, joined the Alumni, Communications and Philanthropy team at Berea College in 2024. She has more than two decades of experience in various corporate administrative roles in the agriculture sector, as well as an early career in journalism. Her previous career has included work in business management, information systems, corporate/university collaboration and alliance development, internship program coordination, recruitment, project management, internal/external communications, as well as overseeing agriscience education outreach programs for K-12 students.

Janna earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Eastern Kentucky University and a master’s in library science from the University of Kentucky. She also participated in a corporate MBA program at University College Dublin Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.

Originally from a small town in western Kentucky, she resides in Madison County with her husband, Randy, a public school teacher. They have two adult children, Aly and Avery. Janna is a proud member of the Berea Partners.
