Bashiri Sawyer is currently a BereaCorps member within the Admissions Department at Berea College. Bashiri works on campus visits and events, which allows him to learn extensively about assisting our guests and potential students. Berea College has much to offer, and he is grateful for the opportunity to share even a glimpse of what it provides to students.

Bashiri graduated from Berea College in 2024 with a major in Religion and Spirituality Studies and a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. He believes his academic journey has equipped him with a deep understanding of diverse perspectives and social issues that are crucial in today’s world.
