Hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, Justin Cox moved all over the country as a child living from California to South Carolina. Before becoming an admissions counselor at Berea, they spent 10 years in the classroom as a high school history teacher at Pulaski County High School and Carter G Woodson Academy. It was as a teacher Justin discovered Berea College and all it offered its students, and when Justin's younger brother applied and got admitted, Justin saw all that Berea did for him. Once Justin saw that, they wanted to be a part of that and help other students find their way here.
