Prof. Foster to Mongolia in Summer 2023

Professor Rob Foster is spending part of summer 2023 studying Buddhism and cultural conservation efforts in Mongolia at the American Center for Mongolian Studies, which is based in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.  An avid fisherman, he also hopes to reel in some of Mongolia’s famous taimen – a species related to both salmon and trout that can grow as large as 100 kilograms (over 200 pounds) – during his stay this summer.
