CELTS Hunger Initiatives
CELTS has a long-standing relationship with the Berea Food Bank, working together to support the community and address food insecurity. Every year, CELTS hosts 2 events to support the food bank- Better Together 5k marathon in the fall, and Empty Bowls fundraiser in the spring.
What is Better Together?
The Better Together 5k Run/Walk is part of a community event designed to support the Berea Food Bank and to remind all of us that we are indeed Better Together.
This 3rd Annual event – formerly known as the Hunger Hurts Food or Fund Drive is celebrating its 31st anniversary. That's 31 years of Bereans taking care of each other and 31 years of community support for people and families in need of a little help.
