International Programs on Campus

International Programs on Campus

Every year Berea College’s Center for International Education (CIE) has a region of the world that they showcase. The CIE’s programs include special campus-wide events related to the area of focus, including arranging for interdisciplinary special lectures and forums, planning cultural events (such as dance and music performances), hosting Fulbright scholars, and holding religious ceremonies.

Think Globally—It’s Friday! (TGIF)

Think Globally It's Friday meeting with students and staff playing African drums

What: The CIE’s popular Friday series invites students who are from other parts of the world or who have studied abroad to be the presenters for these educational talks and offer their insights and perspectives from abroad.

When: Nearly every Friday from 12:15-12:40 pm.

Where: Most TGIFs are presented in Woods-Penn Commons.

Why: Because it’s fun, interesting and delicious!
