15-hour WLS 5
The Community Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Ecovillage by supervising the Residence Life RA staff, housing administrative support, coordinating and advertising RA programs, and serving on the leadership team as a student staff representative. The Community Coordinator is expected to enhance the living environment of the community through staff development, resident outreach, creative programming, and supporting students and staff.

Resident Advisors help create a welcoming, inclusive environment for the community and its residents. As peer mentors, RAs ease the transition to college for students living away from home by informing and enforcing guidelines, creating activities, managing conflicts, and responding to complaints, reports, requests, and emergencies. RAs must submit reports on infractions, violations, and safety issues, and support residents in submitting work orders and other supports. Promote and participate in community events and inform residents about relevant campus and local activities. RAs will have a specific specialty area that they are required to do to support the community.

Resident Advisor

12-hour WLS 5
Ensure the health and safety of the Ecovillage community by cleaning all communal areas (indoor and outdoor) and documenting and enforcing safety guidelines. The Community Monitor will work with residents and the staff to make sure that the Ecovillage is clean and safe, this position will assist with setting and communicating safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Assist with organizing and managing all office operations. Create and maintain files and take minutes at weekly staff meetings. Update monthly apartment key audits. Answer phones, take messages/check voicemails, and check the Ecovillage CPO. Create bulletin boards, and flyers creation, and assist with activities and programs.

Office Manager

15-hour WLS 5
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and advertising NTSP events and programs. Supervises the Children’s Activities Coordinator to ensure youth programming is successful. Engages with the non-trad community to build community-centered events. Has the opportunity to collaborate with other departments and organizations to build collaborative programming.

Programs Manager

15-hour WLS 5
Manages and maintains the Nontraditional Student Center, making it a welcoming space for nontraditional students and their families. Supervises Center Monitors and Facilities Assistants and develops a plan to clean, open, and close the building. Collects and distributes information about college and community resources and services. Helps plan passive programs and events in the Center. Works with the Nontraditional Student Association to identify funds, spaces, and collaborators for NTSA initiatives and programs.

12-hour WLS 4
Develops children’s activities that can either function as stand-alone events or occur at the same time as an adult-oriented event to facilitate parenting students’ attendance. Works with the Program Manager to schedule children’s activities. Supervises Children’s Activity Assistants to ensure all activities are fully staffed.

Children's Activities Coordinator

15-hour WLS 5
The gardening manager oversees the daily operations of the garden and grounds of the Ecovillage. Responsibilities include supervising the garden staff, ordering and inventory of supplies, and setting up and operating gardening plans and programs.

Gardening Program Manager

Work with Facilities Management and the gardening team to support the grounds of the Ecovillage.
