First and foremost, I am a proud mother of a precious, lively, capable little girl who brings joy to every second of my days. I graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in December 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies emphasis Child Development and Minor in Social Welfare. I began my time at Berea College in June 2016 as first a lead teacher at the CDL then Administrative Assistant. I began working with young children in 2005 and have carried that love of service for them since. I have had the pleasure of serving children and families in many roles from teaching in early childcare classrooms birth through 12 years of age, Early Head Start classroom birth through three years of age, Assistant Director, to now administrative assistant here at the Berea College CDL. I’ve loved each of my positions that have lead me to where I am today. I will forever advocate for the early education of young children and the importance it has on their lives as capable, intelligent people as they are the future of humanity!
