Berea College

The Berea College Post Office, affectionately known as the CPO, is a full-service post office where each student is assigned their own personal CPO number. Students may purchase stamps and money orders at the CPO as well as mail and receive letters and packages through USPS Priority Mail, overseas mail, UPS, and FedEx. For individual postage rates, please consult the USPS, UPS, or FedEx websites. CPO is now part of <a href="https://www.berea.edu/printing-services">Printing Services</a>. Visit us in our new location on the ground floor of the Stephenson Building.

When can I retrieve my mail from CPO?

Any mail you wish to send should be dropped off at the CPO by 1:30, Monday &#8211; Friday.

When is the latest I can drop off mail to be processed the same day?

No postage is required when sending intra-campus mail, but the correct campus mailbox address must be used.

What address do I use for others to send me mail?

With new USPS regulations the CPO can no longer forward any type of mail or package once you leave campus. 
Get ahead of your mail to avoid any delays with mail or packages once you leave campus. 
Updating your address is essential to track all your important documents, keep your identity safe, and make sure all your newly purchased items or gifts are delivered to you. Even if you are just moving back home, or if you are moving to a new place altogether, this list will help you. I am planning to graduate or leave campus, what do I need to do?

When sending passports, Birth Certificates, social security cards, or any other highly classified documents in the mail, we suggest using an express service through UPS Express, USPS, or FedEx Express, or use a certified service through USPS. Classified documents should always have tracking.

I need to send my child important documents, while they are on campus.
