Staff- and Faculty-Initiated Fundraising Requests

If you are looking to fund specific projects within your area or department, please fill out the form below, which will connect you with the Philanthropy team expertise that will best fit your fundraising needs.

Examples of fundraising projects considered:

  • Classroom equipment
  • Special event series
  • Labor experiences such as field trips
  • Athletic teams or equipment
  • Academic enhancing experiences such as conferences
  • Honorary or memorial gifts for faculty, staff, alumni, or students

Upon form submission, your request will be considered by a multidisciplinary team of Philanthropy professionals. Our committee meets monthly to align your project interest within our shared work and consider how to highlight its potential within the philanthropic sector. Please note that funding or fundraising support will not be guaranteed and is contingent upon funding opportunities and staff capacities. Reporting to Vice President Chad Berry, the team also considers how a project fits within Berea's mission and evolving strategic priorities.
