Fee Glade Legacy Wall
Legacy Wall

John G. Fee Glade Legacy Wall

The Importance of Bequests Cannot Be Overstated.

Berea remains a tuition-free college for talented students from low-income families thanks to the thousands of generous friends and alumni who have included Berea in their estate plans. Without these bequests, Berea’s mission simply could not continue.

That’s why we wanted to say thank you to all those who have made such a difference. The Legacy Wall is our way of recognizing these men and women whose legacies live on in the aspirations and achievements of Berea students. They–and all those who name the College in their estate plans–are providing the lasting foundation for the Berea mission.

The Legacy Wall is part of the John G. Fee Glade, located in the heart of Berea’s campus. Built in 2009, the Wall lists the more than 3,000 names of those who have included Berea in their wills or made life income agreements with the College that resulted in a charitable gift. Names are updated annually after bequest distributions are received.

The Legacy Wall was made possible through the generosity of Berea College alumna, Helena Jacobs Mink, ’51.
