Brittany is a native of Berea, Kentucky who has spent her entire career in the field of education. Brittany began her career as a high school history teacher, but quickly found her way into the world of higher education. After starting her work at Berea, she quickly fell in love with being in service to students of Appalachia in a college setting. As a first-generation college graduate, Brittany has a deep passion for eliminating the barriers of educational access for students of great promise. Brittany enjoys helping student solve their concerns and providing them with the support and guidance that they need to be successful in their roles in the Berea College Labor Program. In her life outside of the office, Brittany enjoys spending time with her family, spoiling her dog, reading, building Legos, playing video games, and working out. While her days can be hectic, her greatest joy comes from serving the students of Berea to realize their full potential.
