Residence Hall
Dana Residence Hall houses approximately 136 first year and upper-class residents on four residential floors. Each floor has primarily double occupancy rooms, access to a study space, and a shared restroom. The facility provides elevator access to all floors, building wide air-conditioning, and internet services in each room. A full kitchen is located in the basement with microwaves located on each floor in the common study space, and laundry facilities can be found on each floor adjacent to the common restrooms.
Dana Residence Hall provides a mini-fridge in each room. The basement lobby holds the kitchen as well as the game room including a pool table and televisions. The main lobby on the 2nd floor has a ping pong table and extra study space for residents. A study lobby on each floor provides a large white board for work on class assignments. A live in professional staff is on sight at this location to help meet the needs of each resident and promote and participate in the thriving hall community along with a staff of 5 student staff. The main floor also holds a small classroom used for events, studying, and movie nights.
Dana Residence Hall was built in 1960, renovated in 2015, and has a modern aesthetic . Along with it’s rooftop patio, the hall faces the Quad for students to enjoy leisure or study time on sunny days . The residence hall is conveniently located close to the outdoor track, Seabury Center, and Draper Hall. A quick walk across the Quad provides access to the local shops highlighted by Boone Tavern.
The hall currently has both limited and 24/7 visitation communities and is anticipated to house a predominately male community.
