Elizabeth Rogers
Residence Hall
Elizabeth Rogers Hall (commonly called ER) houses approximately 85 upper division residents on four residential floors. Each floor has primarily double occupancy rooms, and a shared restroom. The facility provides elevator access to all floors, building wide air-conditioning, and internet services in each room. A full kitchen is located in the basement, and laundry facilities can be found each floor.
Elizabeth Rogers offers residents many updated community areas marked by beautiful accent walls, a community game room in the basement with a pool table and ping-pong. Rooms on the fourth floor boast beautiful views of the mountains and alumni fields on the southeast side of the building. Each floor has an ice maker in the kitchenette and multiple washers and dryers in the laundry rooms. Each room in this building is unique and charming. The back porch of this building features a shaded lawn with picnic tables and a patio swing with views of alumni fields and the mountains. A live in professional staff is on sight at this location to help meet the needs of each resident and promote and participate in the thriving hall community.
Elizabeth Rogers residence was built in 1924, was renovated in 2007, and has a country modern aesthetic. ER is located between Presser Music Hall and the President’s home on the same side of campus as the Mountaineer Dining Hall for easy access to student services and dining.
The hall currently has 24/7 visitation and is anticipated to house a predominantly female Community.
